Passive and Active Search

iPlace sourcers work as assistants to our clients’ local recruiters. We identify the candidates our clients’ recruiters do not have the time to find or may not know how to find. Our sourcers work the Indian dayshift, which means we are already searching for candidates before the client’s workday begins, giving them a head start on their competitors.

 

We identify candidates from a wide variety of resources. You can view iPlace’s toolkit here. Our sourcers use the latest tools to increase their efficiency. All have two monitors so they can search from multiple resources while working within an Applicant Tracking System. We use DaXtra, an aggregator that enables our sourcers to simultaneously capture candidates from numerous job boards and iPlace’s resume database.

Candidate resumes are uploaded directly to our clients’ Applicant Tracking System or submitted via email. Additionally, the sourcers submit a separate Candidate Submittal Report for each job order. The report lists each candidate submitted for that job order, the resume source, and their validated contact information. Most importantly, the report ranks each candidate with an explanation that enables the recruiter to understand the candidates’ strengths and weaknesses.

Database Building

When time-to-hire determines success, a robust and up-to-date resume database is a driver of profitability. iPlace’s sourcers can scrape job boards and tap other large pools of candidates to ensure your local recruiters are the first to contact candidates. A high-powered database is key to success when you are dealing with:

  • High volume of entry-level job openings and your local recruiters need lists of candidates to call each morning,
  • Recurring positions in the same location where to have success your recruiters need to have candidates ready to interview before or as soon as the job order is released, and/or
  • A niche recruiting practice where your local recruiters constantly speak with talent in their specialty area before the talent is active in the job market.

 

iPlace sourcers can also clean up corrupted databases by replacing outdated resumes with current resumes, finding new high-fit candidates, and removing irrelevant candidates.

Sales Lead Generation

The first step in getting new business is to identify, contact, and set appointments with prospective customers. Most successful salespeople excel at customer interaction; conducting research to identify prospects is neither their strength nor a productive use of their time. Our sales lead generation researchers directly replace the research hours spent by your high-earning salespeople with iPlace’s much lower cost hours.

 

Using many of the same techniques our sourcers use to identify candidates for jobs, our researchers scour the Internet to find the decision-makers your salespeople need to get in touch with to get a “yes.” Your salespeople will have new prospects to call each morning when they come into work.

 

Better yet, iPlace’s researchers can split their time between providing leads for salespeople and candidates for your local recruiters. That’s right: the same researchers who provide sales lead generation services can provide sourcing services to your local recruiters.

 

For sales lead generation, your salespeople specify the characteristics (i.e., industry, revenues, geography, and seniority level within the organization) or names of the companies where they would like to contact decision makers. That’s all they need to do; the next morning they’ll have an e-mail from iPlace in their inbox with verified names, contact details, social media profiles, corporate bios from company websites, and other background information on decision-makers from the targeted companies. 

 

Our researchers also provide links to profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; bios on corporate websites; speaker summaries from trade-shows and symposiums; and articles and blog posts. These links allow salespeople to quickly learn about the decision-makers they will be contacting prior to calling.
